Eric McIntyre grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, where he began dancing at the age of eight at a local competition studio. At age 15 Eric began training at Southwest Virginia Ballet, where he danced the lead role of Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, and other lead roles in The Nutcracker and multiple original works choreographed by Pedro Szalay. Eric was a part of the Richmond Ballet Trainee program and Virginia Commonwealth University’s BFA Program for two years. Upon finishing up his two years in the trainee program, Eric was promoted to Richmond Ballet’s second company where he spent one year, in which he performed in Carmina, George Balanchine’s Theme and Variations, and Swan Lake. Eric just recently moved to Dayton to join Dayton Ballet. This is Eric's first year at Impressions and he is excited to be teaching ballet, jazz, and boys ballet classes.
Laurie Wilson started dancing at the age of 7 and upon graduating from high school was determined to make her life be about dance. While attending college she received an opportunity to buy a dance studio in Huber Heights at the age of 19! She completed her collegiate studies at Wright State University with a B.F.A. in Dance and was busy running a successful dance studio. Over the next several years Laurie was a Varsity cheer coach at Wayne High School, was on several professional dance/cheer squads, choreographed several winning cheerleading routines and started her own competitive dance team at her studio. In 2005 she closed her studio to spend more time as a mother to her daughter Sadie. She started teaching at Madonna's School of Dance in 2006. Laurie spent 14 years as an executive board member to the Miami Valley Dance Teachers Association as Secretary, Vice President, President, and Board member in the early 2000's. In November 2019 she resumed executive directorship of MVDTA as President. She joins Impressions Dance Studio to continue her passion, mentoring young dancers, and be a part of a new dance family.
Meredith Zahn was born and raised in Central Ohio and has always loved to perform. Beginning with shows performed for family on the family room coffee table, Meredith began dance classes at age 3. Dance led her to theatre . . . then singing and music . . . then on-camera work . . . and more. Meredith has appeared in close to 30 stage shows, with some favorite roles being Millie Dilmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Roxie Hart in Chicago, Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes, and Kim MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie. On-camera, Meredith has done a number of independent films and commercials, including a national commercial for Downy and starring in a pilot for the series Programmed. Meredith also performs as a singer/songwriter and has recorded an EP of original songs with LA Producer David Chamberlin. Songs are available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and all major music outlets, as well as music videos on YouTube. This will be Miss Meredith's second year with Impressions.
Jill Willis is the owner of Impressions Dance Studio. She has been teaching and choreographing for over 30 years. During those years, she has coached Impressions Competition Team, the University of Dayton Dance Team, and has assisted many youth organizations with choreography and coaching. The Impressions have won numerous State and National titles under Jill's direction. Jill has studied all forms of dance and holds an Associates Degree in Performing Arts and a Bachelors degree in Business Management. Jill danced during college with the WSU Dance team. She continued dancing on several professional dance/cheer groups including the major league soccer team Columbus Crew as a Crewzer Girl, as well as world league football and basketball dance/cheer groups. Jill has been an instructor for dance camps across the U.S. and has served as a board member and judge for the competition circuit Showcase America and Ameridance/Americheer. Jill has continued her training in dance through attending conventions and seminars. Jill is the proud mother of Kacey and Hailey who are also very active in dance at the studio.
Izabella Smith has been dancing since the age of 3. She has danced competitively since she was 10 years old and has extensive training in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, musical theatre, tap, and acro. Izabella was a member of the Impressions competition lines for three years where she earned several top ten solo placements, National team championships, and led the competition lines her senior year. She has also studied under professional choreographers like Ashly Costa, Misha Gabriel, Tokyo, Mollee Gray, Chebar Williams, and more. Izabella will be teaching some of our intermediate and advanced level classes as well as assisting with the competition lines.
Madonna Rothwell has been teaching dance in Beavercreek since 1981. She is a member of Dance Masters of America chapter #16-Ohio Dance Masters- and is certified by them to teach ballet, tap and jazz. Her dancers, groups and soloists, have won many Overall awards in competitions over the years in all styles of dance. Students have held Ohio Dance Master Titles, competing at the National level. Madonna has choreographed for Beavercreek High School and Beavercreek Theater musicals, including Guys & Dolls, Music Man, West Side Story and more. She has judged for KAR competitions and for Ohio Jr. Miss pageants. Many of her students have gone on to dance on College dance teams or majored in Dance Performance. Some have danced professionally and several are teachers.
Madonna has kept her dance education ongoing by attending many conventions and classes. Although tap is her favorite, she loves to teach ballet and jazz also. She strives to give her dancers different styles and musical choices so they are continually being challenged. Madonna enjoys teaching all levels and looks forward to bringing her generosity of experience to Impressions.
Hailey Willis has been dancing since the age of 3. She started competing at the age of 5 and has never looked back. Hailey has won numerous scholarships and title awards including Miss KAR, Miss Nexstar, Miss Revolution, Miss Platinum, Stage One, and Miss Showcase of Stars. Hailey's training includes ballet, pointe, contemporary/modern, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and acro. She has also taken master classes from professional choreographers Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini and Teddy Forance of Shaping Sounds, Kenny Wormald from the movie Footloose, Twitch, Denise Wall, Chantel Aguirre, Ashly Costa, Blake McGrath, Allison Holker, Tucker Barkley, Misha Gabriel, Jason Parsons, Tokyo, Ivan Koumaev from SYTYCD, Chebar Williams, Mollee Gray from SYTYCD, Ray Leeper, Katy Spreadbury, Al Blackstone, Andrew Winghart, Stacey Tookey, Jaci Royal, Nick Young, and Anthony Morigerato. Hailey is a junior at The Ohio State University and is a member of The Ohio State Dance Team. She is also a staff member for the Universal Dance Associate (UDA) and Showcase America. Hailey will be teaching and assisting this season with several of our classes and competition lines.
Natalie Ruhl started out as a cheerleader at the age of Six and brought home a flyer from school about joining dance when I was 8 and instantly fell in love. Natalie has trained in the styles of Tap, Jazz, and Ballet and added in hip hop in the 5th grade.Natalie continued to dance on her school dance team and started training at Love To Dance dance studio in high school and her Senior year was asked to come back to dance at Harrison as well as take on a captain role. Through the years I've competed in Lyrical, Jazz, Pom, open, officer line, and Hip hop. Miss Natalie is beyond blessed and thankful for all of the love and support I've had from my coaches and parents over the years. Miss Natalie is in her second year of teaching at Impressions Dance Studio.
Rachael Renfrow-Combs has been dancing since the age of 5. She has her BA in communications from the University of Cincinnati. Rachael studied at South Dayton Ballet for eight years and with the Impressions for eight years. Her training includes ballet, jazz, contemporary/lyrical, hip-hop, and acro. Rachael began competing at the age of 11 with the Impressions where she continued dancing through graduation. Rachael began to coach for the Impressions right out of high school in 2008. Under her skillful coaching, she has won several National and Regional Championships and continues to help with the technique of our dance students. Rachael currently coaches the Beavercreek High School's Varsity Dance Team and is one of our competition coaches and will be teaching all of our acro classes.
Kacey Willis has been studying all disciplines of dance since the age of 3. Kacey began competing at the age of 6 with the Impressions Dance Team. Kacey continued her dancing under national award winning choreographer, Amy Vandergriff-Veldhaus at Starmaker Dance Studio in Cincinnati for over 3 years. She danced with Impressions competition lines for 8 years serving as Captain her senior year. Kacey was awarded the 2011 Ameridance Dancer of the Year award and scholarship. Kacey has won several dance titles including Miss Creative Dance Productions, Miss Ameridance, and Miss Americana. Kacey has won several top ten solo awards at competitions such as Nexstar, Starpower, Starquest, and Stage One. Kacey was a member of the national and world champion University of Cincinnati dance team for 4 years. Kacey has also studied under award winning choreographers Missy Lay Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard of Planet Dance Studio in Cincinnati. Kacey is a core staff member for Showcase America camp circuits as well as on their judging staff. Kacey coaches and choreographs for various studios, middle school, high school, and college dance teams across the country and has been awarded several choreography awards. Kacey has been a national finalists for her choreography pieces for the past 9 seasons. She will be choreographing for our competitions lines and solos, as well as teaching various classes.

Isaac Jones Originally from Michigan, Isaac studied under the direction of Cyndi Buczek and Sergey Rayevskiy. He has danced as a trainee with Sarasota Ballet, and as a company dancer with Eugene Ballet Company. He has also been selected as a dancer for the National Choreographers Initiative. He has danced as a guest artist for Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre, Northern California Ballet, Ballet East, Detroit Dance City Festival, and Brighton Dance Festival. He has danced featured roles in works by Jiří Kylián, Gerald Arpino, Toni Pimble, Septime Webre, Mariana Oliveira, Amy Seiwert, Suzanne Haag, Ilya Kozadayev, David Justin, Stephanie Martinez, and Karen Russo Burke. His repertoire also includes works by Sir Frederick Ashton, Ron Cunningham, Matthew Hart, Dennis Spaight, and Ricardo Graziano. This will be Isaac's second year with the Impressions.
Kathryn McCarty began her dance education over thirty years ago in her hometown of Wilmington, Delaware. She has trained and performed with companies such as Boston Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, The Russian Ballet Theatre of Delaware and Ballet West. Kathryn attended the University of Utah as a ballet major before relocating to Southern California to tour both nationally & internationally with The Young Americans. Some of Kathryn’s professional credits include “One Man’s Dream II” (Tokyo Disneyland), Dance Captain & Mainstage dancer on board The Disney Magic (Disney Cruise Lines) as well as numerous regional theater productions across the country. Several of her favorite credits include: “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas”, Crazy For You” and “Pippin”. The past decade Kathryn has directed and taught at several studios in central Nebraska. She founded & was the Artistic Director of Central Nebraska Youth Ballet. Alongside her husband, she co-coached a high school dance team to multiple state runner up titles. Several of her students have gone on to train and dance professionally with companies such as American Ballet Theater, Joffrey Ballet, The Rock School of Pennsylvania Ballet, Ballet Chicago, Miami City Ballet and City Ballet of San Diego as well as earning national awards & honors across the country. Kathryn loves to share her knowledge & passion of dance with this generation’s young artists whenever she gets the chance. This will be Miss Kathryn's second year with Impressions.
Jessica Kanerviko is entering her second year with Impressions Dance Studio. Jessica brings a wealth of experience in the disciplines of ballet, tap, jazz, and more. She began her dancing experience with That's Dancing Dance Studio in Louisville, Kentucky where she studied all genres of dance as well as was on the competition dance line. She loves working with our younger dancers and will also be assisting with our competition lines. Jessica is a 3rd grade teacher for the Beavercreek City Schools. This will be Miss Jessica's third year at Impressions.
Vivienne Grisez(Miss Viv) has danced competitively and recreationally for 15 years and has worked as a student dance
teacher for the past five years. She is currently an Education major at the University of Dayton, focusing on Middle
Childhood. This summer she worked as a full-time City of Beavercreek day-camp counselor. Viv was the first recipient of the
Green County Optimist Club scholarship for her work volunteering with both kids and adults during high school. She holds
current certifications in adult, child, and infant CPR, AED, and First Aid. Miss Viv is energized to begin work with the
Impressions dancers! “I can’t wait to meet all of the dancers and learn about them! See you at Open House!”. Miss Viv
will be teaching our Saturday AM classes.

Dasia Satchellwas born and raised in Dayton, OH. She began her training with the Impressions Dance Studio at the age 14, where she had the desire to be a dancer that was overly strong in all styles of dance. As she grew as an artist she wanted to share her passion with others in the form of teaching. She helped train and choreograph for many dancers and studios in Dayton OH area. She is also a recent graduate of the University of the Arts, with a bachelor in fine arts. While attending the University she has been trained in ballet, contemporary, tap, jazz, hip hop (house, locking, popping, and waacking), modern, aerial, and African. She has worked with artists such as Ronald K. Brown, Kyle & Dinita Clark, Kim Bears Bailey, Mark Caserta, Sidra Bell, Wayne David, Tommie Waheed, and many others. She is currently living in Los Angeles, California to further her career not only as an artist, but also as a creator. She continues to train constantly and explore the many aspects of being an artist. Dasia will be assisting with our competition lines this season.
